On Sunday, May 10, 2026, The Ten Hotel Gurnee is proud to host our very first Mother’s Day Brunch. Same Grand Ballroom. Same attention to every detail. An even bigger menu. And a day dedicated entirely to celebrating the women who hold our families together.
This is not a buffet line at a hotel conference room. This is a curated experience in one of Lake County’s most elegant event spaces. Every mother who walks through the door receives a fresh rose, and a professional photographer will be on hand to capture a complimentary family portrait. No appointments needed. Just gather the family, smile, and take home a memory that lasts longer than brunch.
Our culinary team built this menu to feel more like a celebration than a meal. Every station is refreshed throughout service, so the last seating eats just as well as the first.

When we reviewed the feedback from Easter, two things came up repeatedly: guests loved the carving station and wanted even more savory variety. The shrimp cocktail and charcuterie stations are our direct response. Mother’s Day is a bigger occasion, and the menu should reflect that.
With seatings every 30 minutes from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM, you have real flexibility. Here is what each window feels like:
The quietest seatings. Beautiful natural light for photos. Easiest to accommodate large family groups.
The most popular window. If this is your preferred time, book it first because these slots go the fastest.
A more relaxed late-brunch pace. Ideal if mom likes a slower morning, or if the family is coming from church or a longer drive.
The Ten Hotel sits just off I-94 at Grand Avenue in Gurnee. Most families in the region are 15 to 25 minutes away, and both self-parking and valet are available on site.
Our Easter Brunch was the first large-scale event in the Grand Ballroom, and the response exceeded every expectation. Families came from across Lake County and southern Wisconsin to celebrate together. The mimosas flowed, the carving station was a hit, and the photo booth gave every family a keepsake to take home.
Mother’s Day is our chance to raise the bar again. More food, more stations, more space for families to settle in and enjoy the afternoon. If Easter was the proof of concept, Mother’s Day is the main event.

Absolutely. There is a dedicated kid’s corner, child-friendly pricing for ages 12 and under, and our staff is experienced with strollers and high chairs.
Are reservations required?
Yes. Mother’s Day Brunch is reservation-only with instant online confirmation. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins.
